Take them back to the moment that mattered.
Painted, while you live it again.

A custom journey to the place that made it. Private travel, residence, the day at the location — a master painter at the heart of it. The painting comes home with you, framed.

What Ancora is

The travel company that brings your experience to life through art.

We plan every detail — private flights, residence, the privacy. A master painter is at the heart of the day, working in oil from where you stood. The place, the season, the hour you remembered. Returned to. Painted while you watch.

You aren't giving a holiday. You aren't giving a painting. You're giving the day back to them — and the proof of it, hung in your home, for as long as you both live.

Watches wind down. Holidays end. Jewellery is worn and put away. This one moves with you — year to year, room to room.

The experience

How the moment becomes a painting.

01

The place, and the painter.

Tell us where mattered most. We propose the painter whose hand suits the place — Capri, the church steps in Positano, the terrace where you stayed — and the season and hour you remember it in.

02

The journey, arranged.

Private flights, the residence, the chefs, the painter's travel, the permissions. Sent to you as one document — confirmed, paid for, ready. You arrive.

03

The day at the place.

You return at the chosen hour. The painter is already at work on the light. The afternoon unfolds at your pace — private dining if you wish — and the picture takes shape beside you.

04

It comes home.

The painting goes to our master framer, then to your home — installed by white-glove art handlers who measure, hang, and light it. A signed certificate accompanies it: the place, the painter, the season. The place, now part of the room.

I have watched her receive jewellery, watches, weekends in Paris. Nothing has ever quieted a room like this did.

Who this is for

For the days that changed everything.

— 01

Anniversary

The tenth. The twentieth. The twenty-fifth. Return to where it began — and bring the place home with you.

— 02

Birthday

The fortieth. The fiftieth. The birthday they didn't expect to feel — and didn't expect to receive.

— 03

No Occasion Needed

Sometimes the reason is simply that you can. That you noticed something years ago. That you never said it, and now you can — without asking why.

For business

Want to treat a client?

An Ancora makes for a remarkable close — a milestone marked, a partnership signed, a thank-you that does not sit in a drawer. Commission the place that mattered to a key client, a team, or a board. Their day. Their name on the certificate. Yours to give.

Business commissions may be eligible for partial offset against corporation tax. Speak with your accountant for the position that applies to you.

How it works

Quietly, from the first letter onward.

Every Ancora is handled by one person — from the first letter to the painting on your wall. We move only at your pace. And we never speak of it at parties.

i.

First, a conversation.

A short call or a letter. You tell us the place, the person, and the day you have in mind. Nothing pressed. Nothing shared, with anyone.

ii.

A proposal, drawn by hand.

Within a week we send a written proposal — the painter we'd pair you with, three sample works, the place we suggest, and the agreed total.

iii.

The day.

We meet you at the location. From the moment you arrive, you are looked after — and never asked a question. The day unfolds. The painting takes shape.

iv.

The painting comes home.

Three to six weeks later, framed by hand, brought to your house — measured, hung, and lit by white-glove art handlers. The certificate is signed. The story is yours to tell — or not.

There is one day worth returning to. Take them back to it.

Tell us where, and when it mattered. We arrange the rest.
